01 / GUEST QUESTIONS

RSVP & booking

Your invitation, your room, and the dates to keep handy.

How do I RSVP, and when is it due?

Your accommodation deposit through our official wedding room block is your RSVP. Please book with Indian Destination Wedding and pay your deposit by July 15, 2027. The deposit is equal to one night’s package value. Keep the booking confirmation they send after payment.

Can I book directly with the resort or through another travel website?

Please book through Indian Destination Wedding. They manage our room blocks and work directly with the resort. Their booking policy requires guests to reserve through our wedding block to attend the wedding events. Contact their team before making an outside reservation; do not assume a separate hotel booking or day pass includes event access.

How do I book, and does each person need a separate form?

Submit one reservation form per room on Indian Destination Wedding’s website. Use Rylee and Gurnoor as the group name and list everyone staying in that room. Their team will help with availability, your invoice and payment. If your group needs several rooms, submit a form for each room.

I submitted the form. Is my room confirmed?

Submitting the form starts your request. Review the invoice, electronically sign it and authorize payment as instructed. Indian Destination Wedding then sends your confirmation with a booking number, payment details and remaining balance. Allow up to 72 business hours for their follow-up; contact the team if you are unsure where your request stands.

When is the balance due? Can I book after the deposit deadline?

Final payment is due October 14, 2027. Bookings made after July 15, 2027 are payable in full. Indian Destination Wedding may be able to help with later reservations up to the final-payment date, depending on resort availability, so contact them before making plans around an unconfirmed room.

What if I need to change or cancel my trip?

Contact Indian Destination Wedding as soon as you know. The current terms list payments, including the deposit, as nonrefundable; nights cannot be reduced after final payment, and room changes are not allowed within 45 days of travel. Ask about optional travel insurance when paying your deposit. Any coverage depends on the policy and your circumstances.

02 / GUEST QUESTIONS

Rooms & costs

Choose your stay with the important details in one place.

Which resort should I choose?

Our room options are at Generations Riviera Maya, which welcomes families, and El Dorado Royale and El Dorado Casitas Royale, which are adults only. Compare each room’s photos, occupancy and rates on our Travel & Stay page. Indian Destination Wedding can help you choose and confirm availability.

Are the prices per room or per person?

Rates are in USD, per person, per night. “Double” means two adults share a room and each pays the listed double-occupancy rate. Multiply the applicable rate for each guest by the number of nights. Child rates and maximum occupancy vary by room; Indian Destination Wedding confirms your full total on the invoice.

What is included, and what should I budget for separately?

The room package includes the all-inclusive accommodation, the resort’s included meals, drinks and activities, catered wedding-event food, and the taxes, fees and gratuities specified in the package. Budget separately for flights, $45 per person for roundtrip airport transfers, optional insurance and separately payable local taxes. Check your invoice for the full breakdown.

How many nights do I need to book? Can I stay longer?

The room block has a three-night minimum. Our wedding weekend is February 17–21, 2028, with celebrations from Thursday through Sunday. Choose dates that cover the events you plan to attend. Extra nights are subject to availability; dates outside February 17–21 may take 5–7 business days for the resort to confirm.

Can I request two beds, a particular room or a room near family?

Share your preferences with Indian Destination Wedding before approving your invoice. Bed type is a request and is not guaranteed. Ask the team to confirm occupancy, the exact room category and any pool-access or accessibility needs. They can check what the resort can offer for room locations and nearby rooms.

Can we visit friends or family staying at one of the other resorts?

Please confirm access rules with Indian Destination Wedding, especially if your group includes children. The properties have different age restrictions, and access to another resort’s restaurants, pools or facilities should be checked separately from wedding-event arrangements.

03 / GUEST QUESTIONS

Flights & arrival

From choosing your airport to getting to the resort.

Which airport should I fly into? Are flights included?

Fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN). Book your flights separately; airfare is not included in the room package. Check the wedding itinerary before choosing arrival and departure times, and allow time for airport formalities, the transfer and resort check-in.

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Indian Destination Wedding coordinates roundtrip airport transfers for $45 USD per person, added to each guest’s invoice. Send your flight details by the required deadline and follow the pickup instructions on your transfer confirmation. If you are staying somewhere else before or after the wedding, tell the team when booking so they can arrange the appropriate option.

When do I send my flight information?

Indian Destination Wedding plans to email a flight-information form about 90 days before arrival. The wedding’s listed deadline is January 3, 2028, and the team needs your details at least 45 days before your own arrival. If you arrive early, ask for your individual deadline. Late details can affect transfer availability or cost.

What about extra luggage, car seats or a changed flight?

The listed transfer allowance is one suitcase and one carry-on per passenger. Contact transfers@indiandestinationwedding.com about extra bags, child-seat needs or changes to your flight. For a delay while traveling, use the contact instructions provided with your transfer confirmation as well.

What passport or visa documents will I need?

Check your passport and the entry requirements that apply to your nationality well before booking. Visa requirements can differ by nationality and immigration status, so use official Mexican consular guidance and check with your airline, including any countries you transit through. Recheck the rules before traveling in 2028.

04 / GUEST QUESTIONS

Weekend & attire

Where to be, what to wear, and how to plan your suitcase.

When do the celebrations start and finish?

Our weekend is February 17–21, 2028 in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The current itinerary starts with the White Wedding at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 17 and ends with the reception on Sunday, February 20. Use the itinerary page for event times and locations, and check back as the wedding gets closer.

What if I can only attend part of the weekend?

Let us know directly so we understand your plans, and use your invitation and the itinerary to plan which celebrations you will attend. Indian Destination Wedding can help with your room dates and the three-night minimum. The minimum stay does not necessarily cover every event, so check both before booking flights.

Do I need to wear Indian or Punjabi clothing?

Punjabi attire is warmly encouraged, and our outfit guide also includes Western options. Think an elegant midi or maxi dress for the White Wedding, a bright outfit for Jaggo, modest clothing for the Anand Karaj, and an evening outfit for the reception. Follow the event’s color and coverage guidance, and choose something you feel comfortable in.

Does “White Wedding” mean guests should wear white?

For our Thursday White Wedding, please leave white and ivory for the couple. The guest dress code is soft summer colors with a formal seaside feel. The other celebrations have their own color guidance, so use the outfit guide for each event rather than applying one dress code to the whole weekend.

What should I keep in mind when packing event outfits?

Bring comfortable shoes for walking and dancing, and shoes that are easy to remove for the Anand Karaj. For Haldi, choose washable clothing you would not mind getting turmeric on. A dupatta or suitable head covering is useful for the ceremony, although head coverings will also be provided. Check the guide before buying anything new.

05 / GUEST QUESTIONS

Traditions & guest needs

A little guidance so everyone can feel comfortable joining in.

I’ve never been to a Punjabi or Sikh wedding. Will I know what to do?

You do not need to arrive knowing every custom. Our traditions guide explains Haldi, Mehndi, Jaggo, the Baraat and the Anand Karaj, including what guests can expect. Follow the family’s guidance and participate where you feel comfortable. Respectful presence is enough; you do not need to perform a religious gesture you do not understand or believe in.

What should I know before entering the Anand Karaj ceremony?

Wear modest clothing with shoulders and legs covered, cover your head and remove your shoes before entering the ceremony area. Dupattas are encouraged, and head coverings will be provided. Keep phones silent and follow the family’s guidance. Please do not bring alcohol, tobacco or intoxicants into the ceremony space.

What if I need a chair or help with accessibility?

Our ceremony guide notes that chairs will be available for elders and guests who need them. Please tell us about event-related needs in advance. For accessible rooms, routes around the resort or airport transportation, contact Indian Destination Wedding before confirming your reservation so they can check suitable arrangements with the resort and transfer team.

Can I bring a plus-one or children?

If you are unsure who is included on your invitation, please check with us before adding a partner or children to a booking. A room’s occupancy limit does not establish who is invited to wedding events. For accommodation, Generations Riviera Maya welcomes families; El Dorado Royale and El Dorado Casitas Royale are adults only.

Who should I tell about allergies or dietary requirements?

Please tell us directly about dietary needs for wedding events, and also inform Indian Destination Wedding about any requirements relevant to your resort stay. Share these in advance so arrangements can be checked; do not assume a request on a room booking automatically reaches the wedding team.

Can I take photos during the ceremonies?

Follow any instructions given by the family or officiant on the day. For sacred portions of the Anand Karaj, keep your phone silent, stay seated and avoid blocking the couple or walking in front of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Our traditions guide explains how to be present respectfully while the professional photographers work.

06 / GUEST QUESTIONS

Gifts & keeping in touch

Near or far, you’re part of our story.

Do you have a registry, and are gifts expected?

There is absolutely no expectation to give a gift, whether you are coming to Mexico or celebrating from home. Our Registry page is where you’ll find our Amazon registry and honeymoon-fund links when they are ready. Your love, a kind message or a little happy dance in our honor is more than enough.

What if I can’t make the trip?

We understand that a destination wedding is a big commitment. Please let us know directly if you cannot join us, and know that we will feel your love from wherever you are. There is no need to send a gift or make up for missing the trip. If you have already booked, contact Indian Destination Wedding separately about your reservation.

Who should I ask if I still need help?

For rooms, prices, bookings, payments and travel arrangements, contact Indian Destination Wedding at jess@indiandestinationwedding.com or 888-485-0005. Mention Rylee and Gurnoor’s wedding and allow 72 business hours for a reply. For your invitation, event attendance or personal wedding questions, reach out to us directly.
